Friends

Friends was a popular long-running American sitcom about a group of six friends living in the Manhattan borough of New York City. It was created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman and was originally broadcast from 1994 to 2004. The series focused on the lives of a group of six twenty-somethings (eventually thirty-somethings), consisting of three men and three women residing in Greenwich Village.

Friends (originally Friends Like Us) was produced by Bright/Kauffman/Crane Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television for NBC in the U.S., and was first broadcast on that network. It was followed by daily syndication, cable network TBS, among many other broadcast networks in numerous countries throughout the world. In the US, the first episode was aired on NBC on September 22, 1994, and the last one on May 6, 2004,^[1] which was the highest-rated series finale at the time.

Friends was one of the most popular and longest-running sitcoms in television history, gaining tens of millions of fans all over the globe. The show won many awards during its run, including an Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series, and six consecutive People's Choice Awards for Favorite Television Comedy Series.
